Architectural modeling for REC
I have created a flythrough animation for the new conference center of the Regional Environmental Center in Hungary, and some animations explaining how the solar and geothermal heating and lighting systems of the building will work. It is actually pretty ingenious engineering work! Plus, the building is going to look like something out of Blade Runner instead of something out of a fifties Soviet movie. You can see my work here:

The flythrough animation was bundled into another file which messed up the resolution but here it is in wmv format:

If I have some time I will convert the original into flv and showcase it here.

Busy times
I haven't had much time to update my portfolio but you can now see that I have been busy. Our efforts paid off: we won Gold in the Public Awareness category with a special Christmas card against global warming at the 2008 Hypnosis Advertising Festival, Budapest, Hungary. The idea, art direction and photography for the card was done by me, but I have not uploaded it here as it is not 3D. But you can watch the animation I've created, explaining the concept behind the card. Enjoy!

Polishing my new car
As you can see, I posted some WIP images of the Nissan Navara I am working on. It is shaping up pretty nicely, although there are still a lot of details to embroider. I am curious as to how it will compare to photographs of the same car. I hope my images wil look better

Four wheels are better than two
I spent the last weekend and a couple of evenings working on a model of a car. Completion should take another couple of days. I could tell you its make but I don't want to ruin your surprise. So check back around the end of the week and see what it is!

Warm notes on a cold day
Well thanks for everyone for the heartwarming comments and emails. My portfolio is still very much under construction and your support means a lot to me. I will keep you updated about my work here.
